Red Cross Sends Shanghai Unit To Aid Kobe Sufferers
Dr. Morris Booth Miller former naval commander and Penn medical school emeritus professor leads the Shanghai Red Cross contingent aiding Kobe after a disaster. The central Red Cross committee under Major Arthur Bassett organized relief as Miller and his wife arrived from a world tour and were welcomed as head of the Shanghai unit.
