A Black Hand bombing in Batavia New York early today killed Joseph Batagli his wife and their two year old son. Four others were injured including Mrs. Carlo Trimarchi and Carl Trimarchi and two of the couple’s young sons. The blast wrecked the Ellicotts Street house, with debris in the cellar and a child thrown onto the street.

Baer and Lillanthal operates Redfern on the second floor and will open a general department store on the first floor after Bell stock is cleared. Lease price not disclosed but believed large.
Twelve officials from the Pennsylvania Railroad Co led by Bupt F J Kron visited Canton for a division inspection from Pittsburgh to Crestline. They did not tour the East Canton roundhouse and yards and left early Thursday morning, per local passenger agent George Irwin.
