A Canton meeting Friday at 7 30 p m in Court Room No 1 of the county courthouse will bring together representatives from every industrial plant. George H Clark chairman of the north draft board will explain the federal draft administration stance on industrial exemption claims and how to obtain deferred classification for essential employees. The change requires the employer to file exemption claims for draft age workers rather than the registrant. The north board reports questionnaires mailed Wednesday are already returning with about 400 sent and the first return from the north district completed before noon. The south board began mailing Thursday to cover the remaining 10 percent.
