GIBBET CLAIMS TWO MURDERERS
In Moundsville West Virginia Walter E Willmot aged 21 and Millard Morrison aged 24 from Elizabeth New Jersey were hanged for the May murder of Lens Creek filling station owner Frank Bowen. The two youths mounted the scaffold together four minutes after the trap was sprung and died without faltering. Willmot's body will be claimed by relatives and sent to New Jersey Morrison will be buried in the prison cemetery.
