Miss Carmen Weber and Miss Margaret Paar, bookkeepers for The Leonard Agency Co., were badly injured when an auto driven by Attorney George B. Eggert struck them while they waited for an interurban car at Mt Marie Stop on the Canton Massillon rd. Eggert cited rain and fog as the cause, skidding on the brick road and off the street to a cinder platform. Weber remained unconscious until Friday morning but prospects are not grave. Paar suffered a broken leg in three places and other injuries. Both women were taken to Mercy and Aultman hospitals. Eggert reported the accident to Sheriff Cathon and said he was traveling about 20 mph and attempted to yield to an oncoming car.
