Pittsburgh October 4 The Joseph Seep Agency for Standard Oil announced price increases for Pennsylvania and eastern crude oils effective 10 o clock. Pennsylvania crude up 25 cents to 2 75 a barrel and grades up 20 cents including earning 1 65 Somerset heavy 1 40 Somerset Nght 1 65 Ragland unchanged at 85 cents. This marks the second 25 cent advance in Pennsylvania crude in a week.
In Geneva the League of Nations Assembly adopted the blockade committee report despite French protests. France had blocked its adoption earlier over objections to certain clauses. A committee found all contested clauses acceptable and the report was swiftly approved.
A 259 pound safe containing about $5000 in cash stamps and securities was stolen from the Franklin Drug store owned by James Renda in Brooklyn early today. The burglars also took drugs and liquor. the notice mentions nearby housekeeping rooms and a property listing.
An advertisement for room rentals appeared for three days and was canceled on the second day as rooms were rented. The ad sold cheaply and efficiently, costing only a few cents, with readers urged to call 2590 and ask for "Classified."

Lawrence Mass October 4 The body of Edward Searles the reclusive multi millionaire will be exhumed and autopsy performed to test a rumor that he was poisoned District Attorney S Howard Donnell said he sought health board permission after receiving an anonymous letter claiming Searles was murdered or his end hastened.
