"who are registering claim ex emption," said Kirk, "If the same ratio holds good on June 5 there will be very few persons in the county who will seek to escape army service. He had been informed, he said, that Kirk intended to register all persons and did not know that his plan was only for the convenience of the sick and absentees in parts of the county outside of Canton. He praised Kirk's interest in the work and said that no county has tak.

Man crushed to death at American Bridge Co plant
B Frank Nettro aged 59 of 112 18th street SW died Monday at 3 30 p m when an iron column weighing several tons fell after a crane chain broke at the American Bridge Co plant. Coroner Douds cited the chain failure as the cause. Nettro, a K of P member and husband of his widow, is survived by three sons a daughter two brothers and a sister.
