A 21 year old woman died after a self inflicted wound following a claim of being shot by a man who fled with her in a taxi. Police traced the suspect to a non existent address while bystanders reported a confrontation near A Rahal’s store on Cherry avenue SE.
Washington May 28 Congress debates funding as requests total 8 billion dollars. Treasury shows May 1 balance at 2.226 billion with monthly expenditures around 1.4 billion. Tax revenue may reach only about 4 billion next year, leaving deficits to be covered by certificates and bonds. Representative Moore calls for cuts while leaders doubt over the counter bond sale will suffice.
