Judge John H. Fimple 70 a noted Stark county jurist died at his home 1740 Harvard NW Saturday at 6 after a 10 day illness following a stroke. Born March 31 1859 in Augusta Carroll county he was grandson of area settlers and trained at Northwestern University Mt Union College graduating 1882 BA. He gained national prominence as assistant United States land commissioner linked to prosecutions of Western land frauds. Continued on page 2 Col 1.
