Child Plays Horse Falls On Scythe In Greensburg Yard
Eight year old Mary Bitler daughter of Mr and Mrs John Bitler Greensburg Ohio fell on a scythe while playing in the front yard cutting her legs above the knee to the bone. Dr J B Daugherty summoned found she had bled heavily and was unconscious upon arrival. The scythe had been left in the yard by a man who earlier was cutting weeds.

Mrs. Samuel Walters Dies at 81 Pioneer Resident
Mrs. Samuel Walters aged eighty one died Saturday at 4 a m at the home of her daughter Mrs W J Evans in New Berlin. Born in Pennsylvania she moved to Plain to at age three and lived there the rest of her life. Surviving children include Mrs S E Reemsnyder and Mrs Minnie Sheets Canton Harvey and Charles Walters California Mrs W J Evans New Berlin Byron Walters and Mrs Herman Myers Akron Mrs Claude Taylor Salem and a brother Henry Hall Canton. Funeral services will be held at the New Berlin Christian church Monday at 3 p m with burial in Zion cemetery.
