Long hunt ends with capture in Columbus

James K Hill, sought for months by detectives in six cities, was arrested in Columbus on May 2 charged with passing forged checks. He was also wanted in Lincoln Nebraska Nashville Tennessee Chicago and Wisconsin cities. If not prosecuted locally detectives said he would be returned to Lincoln.

Fire destroys garage in East Liverpool nine trucks lost

A fire caused by a short circuit in wiring damaged a garage in East Liverpool Ohio. Nine motor trucks were stored in the building and were destroyed. Loss was not stated.
