Two new motors from Zeppelin at Friedrichshafen join one still functioning as workers overhaul the airship for a June return to America. Newcomerstown Ohio May 20 A 50 year old woman Mrs Charles Hannum of Cambridge was killed when she was thrown from a car driven by her husband M R Hannum and carrying their young son The accident occurred one mile east of Newcomerstown on the Newcomerstown Cambridge road as they returned from Medina County officials investigate The woman suffered a broken neck a fractured skull and body bruises The body was taken to the Lundy and DeLong Funeral Home in Cambridge

The heaviest frost in two weeks settled on Stark County early Monday worsening damage to fruit and grain. Low fields show severe fruit loss, high ground near normal if weather improves. Wheat leaves nipped, clover damaged. about one third of farmers haven’t planted oats, delaying sowing by 3-4 weeks. Oats and corn planting delays may slow harvest, risking fall feed for dairy farms. County Agent Ormann Keyser notes need for prompt oats planting as frost dropped to 32 degrees early Monday.

Police plan to nab Capone gangster aids

Philadelphia May 20 detectives watched for the arrival of Mike Carrozzo and Frank Nitti, associates of Al Capone, who is in jail serving a year after pleading guilty to carrying concealed deadly weapons. They were to be escorted out of town on arrival. Capone and his bodyguard Frank Cline were in prison quarantine wearing white shirts and black trousers, isolated until May 26.

Yankees Cleared in Deaths at Stadium Panic

Officials of the New York Yankees were exonerated in the deaths of Eleanor Price and Joseph Carter amid a bleacher panic caused by rain. District Attorney John F.
