Stark Electric Fails to Run Strikers Tie Up Service
Merchants in towns served by the Stark Electric and Cleveland Alliance and Mahoning Valley lines faced a downhearted Saturday as no street car service operated on the third Saturday. President Charles Morley had promised cars would run but that pledge came on Friday with no cars Saturday morning. The strikers stayed in firm demands after an all night session. Hearing for a receiver was postponed to Thursday at 9 a.m. as Alliance solicitor Morris argued the strike has tied up business.
