Mrs James P McQuaide of New York seeks $50 000 alleged due from her former husband James P Mc Quaide. He arrived from England to defend the suit but learned his present wife was seriously ill in Surrey. He says he will not stay away and may default if the first wife does not postpone.
County officials plan a temporary tuberculosis hospital on North Market Street infirmary property. Matron Mie Krukenbrod denounces the site as unfit with no water or heat, though the building is to house six patients, with a nurse pair and a cook. Only indigents to be admitted. applications go through township trustees.
