In Youngstown police question three suspects aged 8 49 and 53 linked to the disappearance of 10 year old Beatrice Rosenbaum. Authorities fear murder or captivity and plan lineups to seek identification from three witnesses who saw the girl enter a car. Police continue citywide search with scouts ex service men and detectives aiding the probe.
Stark County's oldest rural school building Green Ridge School marks its 103rd founding anniversary with a June 9 ceremony announced by James Steinmetz president of the organizing association. A reunion of teachers and pupils is planned as part of an elaborate program.

Police linked them to a group of young women who had passed checks in Chicago Cleveland Louisville and Indianapolis. The defendants denied the charge saying Philadelphia was their first town to work in.
Genera Umberto Nobile reported the polar dirigible Italia southeast of Franz Joseph Land en route to Kings Bay Spitzbergen on a two week and a half reconnaissance flight. He said arrival was possible that evening if speed held with reports of safe air and frozen waters ahead.
Sylvesta Bell 39 of Oil Walnut ar SE was jailed on suspicion in the Memphis murder of his wife Ethel Bell 39. After an all night grilling Bell confessed saying he found Jackson with his wife and struck with an ax crushing her skull. He fled to Canton before arrest.
More than 50 state officials attended the opening sessions of the national conference of motor vehicle commissioners and secretaries of state in Cleveland. Representatives traveled from Ohio Pennsylvania New York New Jersey North Carolina Connecticut Maryland Virginia and West Virginia to study national traffic problems.
The United States marine transport monoplane departed Miami at 5 15 today bound for Nicaragua. Commanding officer Lieut H B Palmer aimed to complete the overseas hop in about 14 hours. The aircraft had arrived from Washington on Tuesday.

In Circleville Ohio on May 17 Walter Reid 20 and Charles Nungesser 38 drowned when their trotline boat capsized near Kellenbarger bridge while midstream work. Reid’s body recovered as divers search for Nungesser. Reid fell overboard and clung to the boat before it overturned.
A telegram delivered to the Senate campaign investigating committee claims a Vare Republican organization in Philadelphia and Democrats formed an alliance. It calls the alliance “a national scandal.” Sedgwick Kistler contradicted the charge and said he knew neither Cassidy nor the telegram.
New York May 17 leaders prevent a broader market drop as American Telephone and Telegraph climbs to a record 203 fraction, a7 points up. Rights for new stock were offered at 14 50 on the curb market. Holders may buy one new share for every six held at 100. Aviation stocks rebound. Wright leads with 224 25, up 15 points from yesterday. General Motors, Radio, U S Steel recover as market strengthens and volume remains high.
Prince Carol of Romania and his companion Mme Lupescu reached Brussels after leaving England. The couple, who renounced Carol’s succession rights due to their romance, went to Chateau D'Ardenne amid questions about their future plans.
Horace Dodge of Detroit married Miss Muriel Dorothy Sissman at Bayswater Presbyterian Church. A fashionable congregation attended the ceremony with a reception later at the Park Lake Hotel.
