Marvin Eck age nine of 2513 Seventh Street NW drowned when he fell from a raft on Meyers Lake Outlet during sewer work at 10th Street and Wertz Avenue NW. The body was recovered at 8 05 PM by assistance of Assistant Fire Chief Frank X. Scharlo.
