Charles Garmier 62 a lifelong Uniontown resident was found dead in his cottage by neighbors Madison Hartung and So Yearick after four days missing. Coroner T C McQuate to conduct post mortem with Dr George Garmier of Hartville assisting. Funeral set for Wednesday at Uniontown Reformed Church with burial in Wood Cemetery. He leaves four brothers Henry Akron George Robert and Samuel.
Casualties from recent earthquakes in Khorassan reach 3000 as of May 13. Relief fund totals 100000 including 5000 from American Red Cross, 10000 from the Shah, and 25000 from the government.

William R. Smiley of Providence, Rhode Island, a father of five, sought death through three methods on the Lebanon Hanover road. He crashed his car into a tree, slit his throat with a pocket knife, and leaped into the Connecticut River, where bystanders then watched authorities search for his body.

The Association Against the Prohibition Amendment says prohibition costs U S taxpayers about 936 million dollars yearly. RCA Communications will launch a unique continental radio service on a commercial basis starting Wednesday. Messages can be sent directly between New York, Boston, Washington and San Francisco without relays for the same price as wire messages, and photographs can be transmitted.
