Ex mail pilot Charles A Lindbergh in the Spirit of St. Louis landed at Lambert Field St Louis after a nonstop flight from San Diego. Angelo Meoifi 12 of 1322 Eleventh St SE sustained cuts and bruises when his bicycle collided with the front wheel of a truck driven by L. R. Lesh of Louisville near Diebold Safe Lock Co. on Mullberry Street SE at noon Wednesday. Meoifi was leaving the company's driveway when the crash occurred.

May 11 At Ohio State Penitentiary Hewitt 16 year old convict from Conneaut arrives after conviction on April 8 for the murder of Fred Brown in Conneaut. He was moved from Ashtabula to the jail near Jefferson after late arrival.
A jury panel began evaluating John C. Bond's sanity in Charleston on May 11 to decide if he will stand trial on charges of misappropriation and misapplication of public funds and malfeasance in office.
