The allies and German leaders reach terms and fines and begin immediate fulfillment. Wirth, a centrist, is set to be chancellor in a new Teuton cabinet just formed.
The document outlines Germany's required disarmament, immediate trials for war culprits, and a staggering indemnity of 33.75 billion dollars within 25 days, with initial payment of one billion gold marks by June 1. Further payments total 2 billion gold marks annually, plus a 25 percent export tax. Germany must issue five percent tax free bonds secured by national resources.
Berlin reports the foreign office will notify the Allies that Germany unreservedly accepts all terms of the allied ultimatum. Mrs. Fran cis Rosner 26 an Austrian shot Charles Rosner through the abdomen at their home after he threatened to strike her with a hatchet. He was taken to Mercy hospital in critical condition. She claimed lifelong quarrels over gambling and said she retrieved a .38 revolver from beneath her bed to defend herself. She was jailed on a charge of shooting with intent to kill.
Miss Gretchen Todd, a high school student in Findlay Ohio, was struck by a foul ball at a game causing a neck injury that required later surgery. Doctors urged operation but she returned to school and planned the procedure.
Park Superintendent Eli Hardenstine announced plans to augment Nimisila park zoo next week with five pairs of gray squirrels a black bear a pair of pea fowls and a pair of cockatoos to increase the population.
Bishop Joseph Schrembs of Toledo is named to lead the Cleveland diocese succeeding the late Bishop Farrelly. The Vatican confirmed the selection. Schrembs indicated no installation date yet with arrival undecided. Born 1866 in Ratibor, he came to America in 1877 and rose from priesthood to archbishop status before becoming Toledo bishop in 1911.
Canton Feed Milling Co. increases capital stock to 1 062 000 dollars and becomes a cooperative, affiliating with national farming groups to improve grain marketing. The Canton plant remains hub with seven local elevators in Stark and nearby counties and new branches within fifty miles. Directors rise from seven to nine. manager to be chosen after June 1.
Marietta Ohio May 11 George and Ruth Monaghan aged five and four risked their lives when a fire destroyed their home last night. They crawled through dense smoke with George carrying his terrier and Ruth holding her kitten delaying rescuers as they escaped.
The trial of William H. McGannon on perjury charges was postponed by Judge Florence L. Allen until Monday to allow his attorneys to prepare. McGannon was ordered to appear in court during the day.

She claims their second floor bedroom and a recent sighting of another woman leaving the residence support the case. James Ammat filed the petition. Petro Cirese seeks divorce from Maria Orlando Cirese for alleged infidelity in Italy. C T B McClintock represents Cirese.
Wilson Mawkins is among Ohio State Teachers' association members chosen to represent the group at the National Education association session in Des Moines Iowa in July. Interurban lines Canton Massillon and Akron to resume Thursday after a week long walkout. An arbitration board will be formed with two appointees and a possible third named by Gov. La Davis and Judge Harter if needed. Ballots on the plan to be voted in Engle Hall and Akron with results to be counted in Akron.
