Elevator Cable Breaks Injure Three In Cleveland Warehouse
Three men were injured when an elevator cable at the Mayer Marks furniture warehouse in West Ninth broke, dropping four stories to the basement. Bald eagle captured by farmer released to Ohio University
A large bald eagle measured about five to six feet across the wingspan was trapped by a farmer seeking hawks near Athens. The bird was brought to Ohio University's natural history department, silver band placed on its leg, then released to fly back to its mate and nest miles north in the countryside.
