Charles Frohman famed theater manager sailed with Justus Miles Forman and Charles Klein, both returning from trips to London. A. L. New York May 7 Henry Schultz cheered at a Park Row bulletin board upon hearing the Lusitania torpedoing news. A bystander tore his hat, others joined in a melee with kicks and blows. Three policemen intervened and Schultz limped away. he refused hospital.

First boats carrying passengers picked up at Lusitania loss

At 9 12 p m Queenstown reported sighting several boats believed to belong to the Lusitania nine miles southeast of Queenstown. A motor fishing boat rescued about 50 aboard two boat loads, with the Stormcock towing passengers from other fishing boats. Ten trawlers and a Queenstown life boat aided in rescues as weather remained clear and hot.
