Munich March 24. Chancellor Cuno dismissed a circulated Russo German treaty as a complete hoax. He called it the most gigantic trickery he had ever seen and ordered arrests of conspirators from a famous Berlin political club.
Akron police received a lead from a Pennsylvania detective who saw Mr. William McGilson and his wife on a train bound for Wheeling West Virginia. The couple, who started downtown for shopping a week ago, have not been seen since. Neighbors urged a search. He is 43, she 23, and they had frequent quarrels. They formerly lived in Wheeling where Mrs Gilson's parents reside.
The forecast calls for colder conditions tonight with a sharp drop in temperatures. In Ohio, temperatures will trend lower through tonight and into Sunday with clearer skies and dry conditions likely.
Lew R. Sarrett woodsman poet and lecturer will appear in the Community Lecture Course at First Christian Church tonight at 8 oclock. Detroit March 24 Henry Ford says a ten dollar daily minimum for skilled labor may come in twenty years. He foresees air freighters in use by 1943 and manufacturers owning water power coal mines railways and raw materials. He argues labor will grow more skilled as new machines replace manual work and that waste is wasteful cost. He notes highways as a precedent for transport expansion and predicts big business will reward skill while workers grow prosperous with industry growth. He also touts Russia and China as growing markets for tractors and cars, insisting roads and infrastructure will follow.

Panic gripped Washougal Washington as flames gutted three buildings of the Washougal Woolen Mills early today causing an estimated loss of about 100000. Residents rushed to aid with buckets of water in a desperate bid to save the town.

He cited the need to restore bipartisanship on administration and parole boards, move the automobile registration from the secretary of state to the penitentiary, and halt new state brick plants, stressing ethical considerations and the challenge of reintegrating felons into society.
Anna D Innocenzo files divorce alleging neglect and cruelty by Julius D Innocenzo a wealthy Alliance resident and convicted rapist who fled while on bond. Court of Appeals affirmed the attack conviction on a visiting girl. He is a fugitive from justice leaving the county and his whereabouts are unknown. Clark and Clark filed the petition.

Hiram Bowen of 423 Kenneth NW was seriously injured at 11 25 Saturday when struck crossing Tuscarawas St W at Newton Ave by driver George Lecurg of 222 South Aw orist Alliance held in city jail on reckless driving charge. Bomberger and Luszenberg followed Lecurg westward. Bowen hurled onto running board and dragged 60 feet. Lecurg drove 20 to 25 mph. Lecurg’s wife said Bowen stepped into path after misstep. Bowen hospitalized, condition undetermined.
Seventy one year old 8S. B. Lilley of 1425 Allenay SE received slight injuries Saturday morning while bicycling along Tuscarawas st W at Tlighay. In avoiding collision with a car he turned into a truck rear end and suffered cuts to his face. He was taken to Autman annex.
Saturday the first Stark county case of a so called road hog arrest occurred. Deputy O F E Alsbaugh arrested F R Kirkland driver for The Brandt Co of Cleveland after following four miles and passing him in a wide spot. Kirkland paid a $10 fine plus costs. Alsbaugh warned of further arrests for blocking traffic. In Bucyrus hardware dealers elected Frank Thomas president and Elza Weaver secretary treasurer in a Ohio Hardware Association meeting with Mayor Chas F Picking addressing the group.

Five people under suspended sentences in common pleas court will be arrested April 2 to begin imprisonment unless they pay court costs. Prosecutor C B McClintock said two who pleaded frailty to manslaughter and others, including Peter Wulmer and Carl A Dorland, failed to pay. If still unpaid, he will seek revocation of their suspensions. He criticized suspended sentence laws and said he opposes parole for felons and any efforts to extend suspensions.
Governor Donahey warns that few proposed road setting contracts listed for March 30 will gain Finance Director Baker approval. Contractors are told any bills for high priced roads advertised by Highway Director Herrick will be at bidders risk. The policy requires bids include multiple material type estimates.
