The Canton Daily News opens its new modern plant on the southeast corner of 5th Street with public tours. General Stark urges citizens to attend the open house Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. to learn about newspaper operations.
Canton Chamber of Commerce president FE A McCuskey and other business men support The Canton Daily News plan to raise the price from one to two cents per copy starting April 2. They argue the white paper cost and newsboy share create losses, calling the current price unsound and harmful to commerce.
More than 100 Rotary Club members visited The Canton Daily News new Market Street plant in a noon gathering. District Gov.
