Delegates from the Brotherhood of Main of Ways Employes and Yard Shop Workers met in Chicago to vote on a strike amid heated sessions. The group faced a divided sentiment on arbitration and a railroad administration bill as they weighed a possible walkout affecting about 0,090 members today.

In Montesano Farsh March 9 the prosecution continued its rebuttal exam of witnesses for the state's case. Expert alienists testified on Loren Roberts's mental condition while the defense argued insanity. Prosecutors expect to finish rebuttal by Wednesday, with the defense to follow, and jurors to have the case by Saturday night.
New York report says preparations are under way to launch two enormous flying boats from San Francisco to Manila and then to China. The craft, twice the size of the record trans Atlantic planes, will cover about 8 000 miles in a hop scheduled for next month.

Seven persons died and three were fatally injured in a fire at the Ohio State Epileptic hospital in Gallipolis. Loss to the building was about $5,000 and the facility will be rebuilt or repaired promptly.
Columbus reports detail the double execution of Edward Ness and Jacob Edinger in the electric chair after guard William D Shoemaker shot himself. Ness and Edinger shared final meals and played cards before death, while a mysterious caller voiced prayers and blessings.
Paul Fleming fourteen messenger for the Postal Telegraph suffered a painful scalp wound and bruises when his bicycle collided with an automobile at Ninth and Market. In Berlin General Nollet pressed German Foreign Minister Mueller for a formal apology after a Saturday night attack on two French officers at the Hotel Adlon restaurant.
