Two freight trains collided on Buck Hill, scattering auto tires and sending several crew members to Mercy Hospital with injuries. Engineer of the second train jammed brakes but could not avoid a collision, blocking traffic for more than an hour.
Thousands of New York unemployed march through churches and temples seeking food and night shelter led by Frank Tannenbaum and T. W. W agitator. William I Haywood says the movement will expand to shelter the homeless nationwide. Miss Geer and Mrs. Tite noted for organizing breakfasts at St. Pauls.
In a heated W C U election 57 members voted amid claims of illegality. Miss Lou McCloskey won as matron over Miss Janie Pfau, who denounced the process as unlawful and pledged to seek legal challenge. Dispute centered on voting rules for new members and dues.
In New York on March 7 a mass meeting of I W W raiders was held to protest arrests as Frank Tannenbaum remains in 7500 bail. Several defendants received jail sentences, including 30 days for Louis Siegel and 10 days for James Riley, amid sharp exchanges in Jefferson Market Court.

Brothers J B Lang of Cleveland and A de Lang of Port Wayne Ind arrived for the funeral.
