Elmer Sanborn a 28 year old man in Cleveland is in serious condition after being run down by his own car. While fixing his car in a public square after police warning his lights were out the engine stalled and in re starting it knocked him down. He remains hospitalized awaiting further medical update.
Stark county official Clark Metzger addressed about 100 groups of Canton women at the Canton Woman's Club urging formation of a Canton Committee for Law Enforcement. He condemned police criticism as passing the buck and urged action to support authorities.
At three o'clock in the morning seven poker players in an east end apartment were robbed by two men who entered with revolvers and took 772 dollars. The players then reported to police and were arrested on gambling charges. R. L. Bryant of Akron claimed his $100 share. Other robbers were Cleveland men.
In Columbus on March 1, 40 year old Wil Frakes shot his wife Louise L. Frakes with a double barreled gun in front of their three children, then returned home and killed himself with a chest wound. Louise was only slightly wounded and fainted on the street.
Martha Brewer aged 4 daughter of Eber Brewer died in East Liverpool hospital after her dress caught fire from matches. The incident occurred March 1 and resulted in fatal burns.
Edward Cox aged 19 high school senior and athlete took poison at his Medina home after his mother said she could not afford a car. The death occurred last night.
