The Central Steel company of Massillon is incorporated at Columbus with a $5,000,000 capital. Founders include H P F Batchelor F J Griffiths R E Bebb H M Geiger and A C Fenwick. The plant costs $1,250,000 to build and will be run with electricity under Carnegie Steel management.
T K Harris Co states Northern Ohio Traction will not seek a 20 year franchise for double tracks on 3rd and 4th streets NW for a terminal behind the Harris block on Market Avenue The council members say they would limit the term to 14 years as current N O T franchises expire in 1928 Harris explains the lease runs 20 years but allows subletting after 14 if no extension or new franchise is granted
The executive committee of the Canton Parent-Teacher city union will meet Thursday night at President P M Seymour’s office to plan a method for learning Canton voters’ views on a high school site. They aim for a fair process that lets every voter express opinion before the board acts on the bond issue.

Joseph Shuvolosky was found guilty of manslaughter by a jury in common pleas court for the killing of Vladimir Koontchook a Polander in the southeast section. Frank Kalane who was with Shuvolosky at the time was convicted of murder in the second degree recently. Two others indicted for second degree murder await trial.
The committee chaired by Judge Henry Harter and J H Kenny was appointed by the board to plan a major C of C demonstration. It aims to bring several prominent speakers and develop broader program ideas beyond the event.

In a South Cherry avenue clash, Nick Curis was tried for assault linked to a disturbance at Philips Bible School Mission. Miss Pearl Weaver testified Curis behaved as a gentleman, while others accused district residents of disrupting the meetings. Judge Quinn discharged Curis and warned against future interference.
Police report John W. Kline alias William Langer alias George Kabler, among many aliases, held as Bishop, allegedly swindled James Hindman of New Cumberland out of 3000 dollars in a Beach City real estate deal. He is said to have forged signatures and obtained a $200000 fortune over years, with ties to the Ward farm and Canton visits. Oswego authorities seek extradition for Stark County trial.
