Patsy Cascito, 1021 nidst SE, angry over rejection, attacked his sweetheart Mary Perone at the Old King Cole Papier Mache Market factory with a razor. He severely wounded her in the arms and neck but was restrained by employee In S. Allen before authorities. he admitted intent to kill and was jailed on a charge of assault with intent to kill. Cascito, a laborer at the Plaque works, said the woman rejected him recently and that he planned to kill her to prevent others from gaining her attention.

Pasha Abas a 23 year old Albanian native died in Ault after falling from a moving crane at the Timken Roller Bearing Co plant.
