The United States Military Academy at West Point confers diplomas to the class of 1925. Graduates receive a three month leave before reporting to duty at their first posts in September. Cadet Orrar Co, Mater is among the members.
Of the graduating class, appointed from the National Guard, is the son of Mr. John Mater, 727 Lawrence Rd NE. Cadet Mater has been a member of the cheese team and held the rank of Cadet Sergeant in the Corpo.
Canton bus operators accuse Sadie Salisbury of violations of the Collister-Freeman law, seek revocation of the Canton Alliance route certificate. Samuel Derenberger alleges inadequate passenger insurance and unsafe bus equipment, speeding drivers, improper tires on wet roads, and disallowed passenger conversations.
Derenberger charges unsafe practices in bus operations including cars moving while occupants are at risk, refusing paying passengers, overloading front seats, not stopping at crossings, and occasional late departures or route deviations from Canton to Sebring.
Initiation into the third degree will be held in the City Auditorium on Saturday by the Junior American Mechanics. Stark county ecouncila support the cere monies and the Barber team will conduct the ceremony.
