Alliance City Hospital to be Turned Over to City

In common pleas court Friday the Alliance City Hospital association sought permission to transfer its real estate to the city of Alliance and dissolve the private corporation. Ten thousand Goodyear workers to Canton summer gathering

Meyers Lake will host one of its largest summer events as 8000 to 10000 Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co workers from Akron travel to Canton. Five B&O trains will bring workers to the event, with planning discussions held in Akron between park officials and Goodyear managers.

City to Deliver 348600 Bond Issue for Sewage and Streets

City bonds totaling 348 600 are ready for delivery. Auditor Brumbaugh said funds for sewer waterworks and street improvements will be in the fund next week. R L Day Co of Boston will buy the issue. Bonds include 100 000 sewage treatment 61 600 pumps and water mains and 178 000 street improvements.
