Eight Navarre youths charged after beer party attack
Sheriff Oberlin arrested eight young men aged 16 to 21 on assault and battery charges filed by L. B. Yant, a 70 year old farmer. The incident occurred during a beer party at Yant’s property on July 6 when two girls were chased away and Yant and Heilman were beaten.
