United Press reports revised figures listing casualties from the Binghamton factory fire. The tally shows charred bodies recovered, deaths in hospital, missing believed dead, fatally injured in hospital, badly injured, slightly hurt, and those who escaped unhurt among a total building count.
Sixty three persons mostly women and girls died in the fire that destroyed the Binghamton Clothing Co factory. Seventeen women and girls injured, at least 10 expected to die. A state fire marshal and factory commission officials began a probe as crowds gathered around the ruins. Forty four employees remained missing.
City Solicitor Blake told Service Director Harbert that the $50,000 West Park parking bonds will be sold in about a month in a new city improvement bond issue. Harbert said funds should be available to begin work on the parking project this fall, though completion this year is unlikely.
Burglars tried to enter the residence of L. P. D. Yost at 963 McKinley NW Tuesday night. The family heard noises on the porch and frightened the intruders away before entry.
John Harber of 612 Madison SE suffered a badly crushed foot when a heavy steel piece dropped at Die bold Safe and Lock Co on Wednesday. Dr. E D Brant treated the injury.
Massillon, July 23. Mrs. Ella Heintzleman of East Walnurt received a telegram announcing her daughter Mrs Edna Noling twenty one widow of the late Earl Noling who died in Akron had been struck and instantly killed Monday at Leland Oregon while visiting with Mr and Mrs J C Eddy and family of Cleveland. She had gone west four weeks ago and planned to return in August.
A broad coalition including councilmen the B M A physicians and other groups seeks to block a referendum on new street names now in effect. Councilman DeCorps and A C Eynon oppose any repeal or delay noting dissatisfactions can be remedied without undoing the system. The street renaming committee will handle protests but will resist petitions against Seventh Street and Thirteenth Street.

Ralph Rankin of Grand Rapids Furniture Co. was badly bruised Tuesday evening when a passing car loosened a guy wire in Tuscarawas Street W, frightening the team that pulled a wagon in front of the furniture store. The horses bolted eastward, Rankin fell at Cherry Avenue, and Miller Blanchard ambulance took him home. The team was halted soon after with no further damage.
In a bitterly fought vote, Youngstown ward by ward rejected the proposed charter by 5962 to 2973. The framing commission offered a business manager form under state home rule, but residents opposed it for dividing responsibility with councils.
