Couple Killed Near Alliance in Railway Collision
Alliance July 12 Mr and Mrs Elwood Robinson aged 61 and 58 of Marlboro were instantly killed at 10 50 this morning when their car was struck by the Cleveland and Pittsburgh limited on the Pennsylvania lines at Drayer’s crossing four miles east of Alliance. The train could not stop before hitting the auto which drove onto the tracks.
Three Autos Recovered After Thefts By Local Gang
Police recovered three of four stolen automobiles in recent days. Detectives seized a Ford roadster belonging to G la Prendvil of Lakeside from Third Street and Market Avenue North. A Ford touring car stolen from 2050 Second Street NE was found near Navarre. A Buick stolen from K and Herron R F D No 7 was recovered as well. Police Chief Gauchat said most thefts are by a group of youths.

Ralph Edmund Danner, 28, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Danner, Canton, commits suicide at home after years of paralysis from infantile paralysis contracted in a Massachusetts training camp. He died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, shot himself with a double barreled gun, likely using the gun barrel to touch his heart. Survived by three brothers and his parents. Funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Rev.
