The Canton school district will publicly offer 825 000 in bonds August. The bonds were rejected by both the industrial commission and the sinking fund, as required by law to offer to them first. The board will advertise for bids and hold the sale Friday.

Mayor C F E Poorman and city leaders will review the U S Army Motor Transport Convoy as it passes through Alliance on Monday along the Lincoln highway. The convoy, the largest yet, includes 45 army vehicles and support units, with a recruiting truck on board and engineers to study road conditions. The convoy aims to promote good roads and the Motor Transport Corps, and may camp overnight in Alliance before continuing to California and San Francisco.
