The Wheeling and Lake Erie system plans a four or five story brick office building in Brewster to centralize operations from Cleveland to Canton. About 60 Canton clerks will move, with many more from Cleveland and Massillon, as real estate values rise in the village. A Canton meeting Monday will decide the final height and arrangements.

Minister Hurt in Wagon Collision at Third and Herbruck
Rev. Perry E. Smoke of First United Evangelical church was seriously injured when his bicycle collided with a light wagon at the Third street Herbruck street intersection. The wagon driver fled but Deputy Sheriff John Detrick stopped the vehicle and the driver claimed no fault. Rev. Smoke suffered a fractured shoulder, severe sprain, cuts and bruises and was taken home.

Fair Plans Take Shape for Stark County Fair Poultry Exhibit
A Stark County Agricultural Society committee will meet soon to approve plans for a new poultry building and its erection. Chickens will be a main feature with county prizes and open classes with cash awards.
