In Cleveland on July 8 the murder case against Catherine Eva Kaber moved closer to trial as witnesses testified, detailing evidence in the plot to kill her husband, Daniel Kaber, the wealthy publisher, with the electric chair as the stated outcome.
The Timken Roller Bearing Co won the first round of its suit against Gilliam Manufacturing Co and George Lee Miller when Judge Ake overruled a defense motion.
