Toledo Pilot Injured As Plane Crashes In Tiffin

Coroner Ends Crash Probe In North Canton Incident

Prisoner Shot and Killed at Ohio State Penitentiary
William Perry a 38 year old inmate from Cleveland was shot and killed at the Ohio State Penitentiary in Columbus after breaking from Night Captain Hall during a transfer to solitary confinement. Guards fired when Perry fled. he died thirty minutes later. Perry was serving 10 to 25 years for robbery. The incident also wounded Guard James R. Clark.
