Police arrested several individuals Monday night in a vice crackdown. Those named include Mary Hanner and Minnie Harris for conducting house of ill fame, M. E. Myes and Mrs. J. J. Johnson for same, L. Davis and Andrew Jones for trespassing, Peter Tragonis and Georgie Simpson for visiting house of ill fame, John Smith for driving while intoxicated, J. G. Harris for reckless driving, and Peter Orphan for visiting house of ill fame.
London dispatch reports printing paper and coloring material exhaustion has cut Soviet government printing output by 30 percent. The shortage is linked to limited paper money supply and wages for Bolshevist workers are said to be in arrears by several million rubles.
July 4 report says George P. D. Hixson a junior dental student at the University of Michigan was fatally shot by police early today while officers hunted a gang of robbers. Police said Hixson reached toward his hip pocket after being ordered to raise his hands and he was unarmed. Hixson’s home is listed as Washington, D. C.
In Mansfield Ohio on July 4 the daughter of Mr and Mrs Paul Gages weighed one pound and several ounces at birth but was normally developed. Attending physicians noted such a small newborn would usually need incubator care yet expect the infant Miss Gages to progress as a normal child.

Dublin July 4. The Gresham hotel, headquarters of Famona De Valera, commander in chief of the republicans, was surrounded and under heavy fire. Irregulars burned the Sligo post office and barracks while fighting and heavy casualties were feared. Refugees fled as rail lines and communications were disrupted across the Irish Free State. Fighting continued in Donegal as irregulars held firm against regular assaults. In London officials said the backbone of the rebellion may be broken as Dublin strongholds fell and government troops advanced in the provinces.
John Rowlands aged 53 died instantly while shooting rats with a rifle in his back yard at 1823 Fourth Street NE. He was survived by his wife and was a member of Knights of Pythias Junior O U A M and the Loyal Order of Moose. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Charles R. Kittrick the diver from Cleveland arrived Monday at 6 a m to aid in locating Homer Carnes body drowned in Big Sandy creek two miles east of Bolivar. He combed the creek bottom in a regulation deep sea suit for an hour and a half at a time without success and will continue Tuesday. Funeral services for William F Brown were held at noon at Maughiman funeral parlor with burial at Summersold.

Funeral Thursday 1:30 pm at home. burial Westlawn. Ida H Brumma 39 wife of William Brumma 1614 Woodland Ave NW died at home after six months illness. Survived by husband and children Fred Carl Ernest Alfred Walter Gertrude Agister Mrs FE W Issler and brother L Schneider. Member Church of the Soul and German Beneficial Association. In Cincinnati on July 4, 67 year old Joseph Haas a peddler from Cheviot Ohio shot himself in a saloon toilet on Northbend road. The body was not found for some time as patrons thought the shot marked July Fourth celebration.

Mrs. Viola Dillingham of Chicago files suit in Washington state court alleging a physician and an attorney defrauded her out of 353000 from her late husband Frank A. Dillingham of Cincinnati. She says they coerced acceptance of a 40000 settlement through fraud and deceit and the attorney took a third of that sum as a fee while the doctor diverted additional funds. The suit targets current holders of her late husband’s business.
