Paul Barnett received 10 days in the workhouse while Albert Barnett and Shaffer were each fined 10 dollars and costs. Williams was committed to juvenile court. Police said the youths rode about the city in an automobile Wednesday night and harassed several girls.
Lorain plans reconstruction under a city planning commission after a storm. Mayor Hoffman considers appointing a commission to plan the re construction following input from Charlotte Rumbold of the Ohio State Conference on City Planning. David Lewis about 40 of Baltimore Maryland a prisoner in the city jail attempted suicide Thursday afternoon at 130 striking his head against bars and leaping against cell doors. He suffered severe head injuries and tried to hang himself with a belt but was stopped by turnkeys. He is serving a fine for intoxication and the city physician said he would recover.
Daniel Belmont of Bogota and Anthony Salah and Harry Martin of Corona New York pleaded not guilty when arraigned before Judge J A Bowman on a charge of suspicion. Police arrested the men for train riding and held them for inspection by Capt. Clarks, a Bertillon expert.
Anthony Tuscano filed a common pleas case against the Pennsylvania R R Co alleging property encroachment in Louisville. He seeks 3500 dollars in damages and an injunction against further trespass with Seeman and Seeman as his attorneys.
James Allen of 810 Cherry av was convicted in criminal court Thursday morning for illicit liquor possession. Judge Jacyce Bowman ordered a $500 fine plus costs.
John Mufar of 1466 East View Ave NE pleaded not guilty in criminal court Thursday to possessing a bottle of illicit whiskey. A hearing was scheduled for next week to set further proceedings.
The State Civil Service Commission affirmed Warden P. E. Thomas’ order discharging guard C. B. Arthur of the Columbus penitentiary for incompetency in permitting a convict escape on June 2. The ruling was issued in Columbus on July 3.

Howard Stickler of Greentown waived preliminary hearing after arraignment on possessing stolen property. He is held to common pleas court in $106 000 bond. Police seized two stolen cars at arrest. he claimed he bought them.
Police recovered an automobile stolen a month earlier after its owner William Taglieferry identified it parked near the Wheeling and Lake Erie freight depot on a city street.
