Steps From One Train Kill Man In Massillon Yard
William Becker of Massillon, 46, stepped onto the path of a northbound local after work and was killed when struck by the freight train in the Baltimore and Ohio yards at Massillon. His head and chest were crushed and his severed arm was found among injuries. Coroner T. C. McQuate inspected the scene on Saturday. Becker had lived in Massillon for years and is survived by two brothers and sisters, all in Massillon. Funeral plans pending.
