He says banks could finance the drive and unemployed workers could be put to work while easing rents and unemployment nationwide. Four men were arrested in Columbia Heights Massachusetts on charges arising from a story told by a 15 year old boy now in juvenile court at Lancaster Industrial School. William Stitt faces sodomy charges with an affidavit filed before a justice of the peace and appears before the next grand jury. Gust Seric Christ Vardie and Ziso ChMstoff are charged with contributing to delinquency and will be tried by Juvenile Judge Ake. Arrests were made by Deputy Sheriff Reardon and Smith and Probation Officer Webster.
Akron inspectors charge 41 restaurant owners with selling a diluted milk mixture resembling water. An owner argues cream is separated and the remaining liquid sold as milk. Inspectors warn the public to reject milk not in original containers.

A bandit held up J. K. Wise of the Columbia Oil Company at a Cleveland filling station, robbed him of 47 dollars, then kidnapped him and drove several miles before throwing him from the car.
