Sheriff’s deputies investigated his last known whereabouts and found no trace since January 15. She plans to publish a book and pursue film deals to profit from the misfortune, while the missing groom is sought for questioning.
Secretary of State Lansing announced the resignation of Henry P. Fletcher the United States ambassador to Mexico. Fletcher sent the notice to President Wilson and is in New York with no stated plans.
