Boy Dies After Crane Accident at Ohio Power Co Site
Nine year old Joseph Grizno son of Mr and Mrs Grizno of 477 Thirteenth St SE was struck by a swinging crane at the Sec ond-st SE plant. He died four minutes after reaching Aultman annex hospital from a fractured skull. Witnesses said the boy tried to outrun the crane and wandered beneath it. No workers were nearby and the operator did not know children were under the crane. He attended St Mary’s school. Funeral services set for Thursday at the Slavish church Henry Ave SW with burial at Calvary cemetery.
