Prison Chaplains Heal Through Education and Faith
Ohio State Penitentiary chaplains oversee Protestant Catholic and Jewish services for 900 plus inmates. Education and library programs reach 350 day class students, 600 night students, and 84 fields of the Inter-Wall Institute, under Rev. Reed and with Warden Thomas. Radio and correspondence schooling expand access, while idle-house reform seeks work for prisoners.
