Judge A Talmadge Snyder took under advisement the cases of W J Thoma and John Sultz charged with manufacturing liquor at a Canton area mine. Bond set at 3500 each. decision due next Wednesday morning. Additional defendants nick Seavelli Jr and Mastrona Lust held on liquor manufacturing warrants. Police traced a 100 gallon still used at the Thomas coal mine ten miles south of Canton with water from springs and roof drippings.

Paul Marble, a credit manager, admitted stealing a kiss from Doris Cole and was slapped by her. He then received a fine of 50 and a 60 day jail sentence from a Columbus judge. Marble denied biting her on the neck, a claim supported by visible teeth marks in court.
