Despondent Canton carpenter ends life by hanging
Caleb Knowles a sixty eight year old retired carpenter of Lake Park north of Canton was found dead Sunday morning hanging from a rope in his attic by his wife Amy Knowles. Coroner Gavin said Knowles was likely dead before he was found. He had been despondent recently and complained of head pain. Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 2 p.m. with interment at Westlawn Cedar Point.
