Fish Victim Strains Arm After Lake Huron Catch

Judge R S Shields of 922 Tuscarawas Street is a leading candidate to become chief justice of the court of appeals to succeed Judge R M Voorhees whose term ends in September. Man Slashes Throat Then Fights Doctors to Die
Emil Bohlinger 37 a Louisville resident cut his throat Saturday afternoon and fought doctors for about a half hour before dying. He had shown odd behavior for days and had been to Massillon State hospital. Relatives planned his return to the hospital after learning he might be sent back that night. He seized a razor on the porch, then fled to the barn before disappearing for a time.
