Boy Killed as Car Hits Passing Group Near Bethany Church
Eight year old James Coleman was struck and killed by a car driven by C F Hardman while playing behind a brick pile near the Bethany U E Church on Mahoning Road Massillon. Hardman said he was going slowly and stopped about 12 feet from the collision. Coroner Founds ruled the accident unavoidable and exonerated the driver. Funeral services for James will be held Tuesday at St Pauls Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
