Stark county reported Joseph Sieber the Klan backed candidate for governor won a plurality of 389 in the unofficial count. County totals showed 255 of 265 precincts tabulated with 10 rural precincts not changing results. Sheriff C W Kirk won renomination in a strong bid while Thomas Hunsicker claimed the congressional nomination for Dalton by about 500 votes. Charles Fromm and Walter Agler led a crowded county commissioner race, with Bert Paine strong in the east end.
