Negro Beats Man With Pipe At Plant Fight
Dewey Meiver attacked Murchson Rollands with a four foot iron pipe at the Ohio Power Co plant in Second SE. Rollands, 30, was beaten unconscious and hospitalized in Mercy Hospital with very slim chances of recovery. Meiver fled but was captured after a chase by Officers Ritchey and Wogley.
